1982 Fruehauf 1570 Cu Ft Vacuum Dry Bulk / Pneumatic Tank Trailer

1982 Fruehauf 1570 cube vacuum pneumatic, spring suspension, 20 inch canister, dent front does not affect operation, repairing cracks and other items a copy of items available and unit is available for inspection. Used for plastic, clean interior. Repairs scheduled:  pressured up the tank and only found some gaskets and Victaulic clamps leaking.  We did not find any leaks in the shell.  There is a flat spot on the front street side.  The inside looks pretty clean, except for some pitting in the front slope.  There are marks on the inside where it looks like someone cleaned the inside by sanding or grinding.  The steel parts are showing some pretty good corrosion, especially the fender brace pipes and cross pipes on the suspension. The end frame has a piece of angle welded above the LH equalizer.  The air tanks are pretty corroded and one of the mounts on the rear air tank is broken.  The left rear spring hanger has been repaired using a piece of spring welded to it and the spring has been worn flat on top.  The ladder is broken at the top mounts and would at least need new ends welded on to be secured.  Let me know if you have any questions or if you want more detailed pics certain areas. AS IS / WHERE IS Houston, TX
